I finished! Let me preface the unveiling by saying that I am very nervous about this which is probably why I didn't finish til the last minute. I have had this idea in my head for a long time and was not sure if I could actually make it work. I did my best though. For better or worse I present Night Time in my Dreams. I made this for Shellsbells over in Australia. I hope you like it Shelly. It is a working clock if you can't tell(i know the pics are kind of wierd). The last pic is on my moms wall, I better grab it before she gets used to it, he he.
BigCat made for me and it is amazing! I adore it Cath. This really has been a lot of fun. It is fun and a little crazy to think that soon this will be on the other side of the world. The package will be mailed tomorrow. Thanks so much for hosting this Big Cat! If you go to BigCats site you can find links to all the art in the swap. I think they all look great, so unique.
*Sorry for the sideways picture. I am on my moms computer and can't figure it out!
Love Stacy

I'm glad you like your piece. I am putting it in the post today so in a week or 2 it should be on your doorstep.
Enjoy the rest of your vacation.
what a cool chicken you are!!! Tis adorable...just deciding where to put it!! So very stoked with it. Clock idea is wonderful. I love art but I love functional art sooo much better. Can't believe we both made our art useable.
Thanks again...have a great weekend.
Stacy, that's awesome! Can we make one of those in class? ;) So stylish and creative!
Oh wow this is GREAT! I gather you are in some kind of swap? Lucky recipient! I love the fabrics, and you are so clever to sew the trunks/roots - I thought they were drawn but oh no, they are stitched - amazing!
Oh I love it!! You may have to go into business making clocks like this!
